Here was a kind and friendly person. Glad to call him friend. When he found out that I was a fellow paratrooper, he brought me several souviners from a ride to Ft Bragg. What a great American.

I was sad to learn of Jere's passing. I met him last year after he made contact with me. He wore my dad's pow/Mia bracelet. When he rode the RFTW last year he took with him a photo of my dad to place at the Wall. I met up with Jere in Monroe while they made their stopover there. He was truly an American Hero in my eyes. Although I knew Jere for a short time, I will always remember him as a special guy. Thanks Jere!
