Beth, Bruce and Bill, Our prayers are with you, and to say that River Road will never be the same without you mom and dad is an understatement. We could not have asked for better next door neighbors. Such kind and giving folks. We will certainly miss them. Stay in touch.

Bill your dad was one of the few men I truly respected while growing up in Shreveport. He was always such a humble person and for that I truly respected him. Sounds like he lived a very fulfilling life. Our prayers go out to you and may God comfort you and give you peace.

John & Libby were my across the street neighbors on River Road. They were the greatest folks in the world. John always was there to share his warmth, intelligence, and advice as I grew a career and family in full view from across the street. I will always remember his humor and graciousness and our mutual affinity for Makers Mark. My condolences to the Roby family, but please know that I will always hold your father close to my heart.

I recall my dad, Carl talking endlessly about the adventures of he and John. He truly enjoyed the friendship of John and always looked forward to their weekly tennis outings. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Our prayers for you and your family.
