Susan, Linda, and Robin,
Just saw this about your father yesterday. Obviously he was an amazing, loved, and highly respected father and physician. Our family grew up down Atlantic Street from you in the '50's. I'm recalling fond memories of the Shavins inviting the neighborhood children down for a Halloween costume party once, and a pillow fight with Tommy Sands at your house. I was told that the first house we ever owned, on Atlantic, had been built (or owned) after WWII by Dr. Shavin. There wasn't a better time or place to grow up than Broadmoor in the '50's.
May your father rest in a well-deserved peace.
