Heloise, what a beautiful message.. You said it all. We were lucky to live next door to the Pous in the early 1950's on Adger St in Broadmoor. We three youngsters ran back and forth all day long, playing with John and helping Patsy with Anne. I am sure we were NO help! I remember one day, I was probably 7 I got my leg stuck in our wrought iron porch railing. Our parents weren't home, just our sweet maid, Ida. No one knew what to do so I had to just stand there with my leg stuck feeling really silly. Finally Jack Pou drove up and I was saved. Of course, he knew just what to do, but in such a sweet gracious way that I no longer felt silly. I've always remembere that. Love to the Pou family and may God be with you during this time. Our families were both blessed with awesome Dad's.
Love you good (as my Dad used to say) Beth
