Mary Mozelle Crain
Bossier City, LA - Mary Mozelle "Nan Naw" Edmonds Crain, 89, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Brother Denver Ebert will be officiating the service.
Mozelle worked as a manicurist at Highland House of Beauty. She was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. She enjoyed watching church services on television, especially Joel Osteen and Dancing with the Stars. She also loved to paint.
Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Mose Partridge; brothers, J.W. and Elmer; sister, Francis; and daughter, Mary Patricia Beard
She is survived by her son, Warren Edmonds; brothers, Boyce, Billy, Douglas and Jerry; sisters, Jo Ann and Sherri Jane; Grandchildren, Linda Kay Finklea, Rebecca Susan Calhoun, Mary Christy Mitchell, William Fredrick Edmonds; ten Great Grandchildren and eleven Great-Great Grandchildren. She was affectionately known to her Grandchildren as Nan Naw.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Finklea, James Calhoun, Dustin Ebert, David Green, John Finklea and Brandon Finklea.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pilgrim Manor Nursing home and Willis Knighton Bossier for taking such good care of her.
