Maxine, We were so glad Buddy called and talked to Jim a few weeks ago. He was the best boss Jim had and we enjoyed our visit with you both when we were living in OK. We will keep you in our prayers during the hard days ahead. We were sorry we could not go to the funeral.

Maxine: I was deeply saddened to read of your loss. May the peace which comes from the memories and love you and Buddy shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

My Dad, Ott Cheatham was one day older than Buddy. They both went to Village School and were friends for life. Through Dad, I too became friends with Buddy. He stopped by and visited with me recently and I let him know then that because he meant so much to my Dad, he also held a special place in my life. To all the friends and family of Buddy Phillips, know that he was a person who affected many lives. And know too that he can now rest in peace.
