My husband's Aunt Alice was always so sweet and full of kindness towards my husband, Peter, myself and our children. We attended the Scozzare Fourth of July BBQ and fireworks since we were first married and every year thereafter. I remember how kind Alice was. She never rushed to make the potato salad or make sure there were enough condiments out on the picnic table. If I stopped to speak with her, she would give me her full and undivided attention. She made me feel as though I were the only person in the room. And her words were always filled with a great deal of wisdom and a bit of dry humor thrown in for good measure.

I remember one specific incident when our son, Tommy, got hurt out in their backyard. She tenderly spoke with him as she washed his "boo-boo," gently rubbing ointment on it and placing the bandage ever so carefully as she wiped away his tears and fears.

Alice was an inspiration to me as a young mother to tend to my husband and children with utmost care and affection. I will miss her sweet and gentle personality and I know my late husband will welcome her entrance into the glorious Kingdom of Christ to catch up on old memories. We all will miss you, Aunt Alice.
Love, your niece-in-law, Connie, Silver Lake, KS

Alice was a delight in all ways possible! How I enjoyed being in the Blessed Sacraments Mothers Guild for many years with her. My absolute favorite memory of Alice was the evening we honored our Mother's who would also be graduating out' of the school with their last child enrolled. With a twinkle in her eye she added I'll see you all in 6 years'. The crowd roared with excitement knowing her daughter Lee was on her way. Sleep in heavenly peace my beautiful friend.
