May the God of all comfort strengthen the family at this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Psalm 116:15

Brian and family....so sorry for your loss . Remembering Great Kills from the late 50's to early 80's,the Byrne Family was friendly, pleasant and caring. That was the norm for that time in the village'. It was a great space in time and I hope you have cherished family, friend and community memories. I do.

Byrne Family,

Your dear Mom was a very close friend to our Mom, Rose Todaro of Great Kills. They enjoyed being together at St. Clare's Church. They also spoke regularly on the phone and socialized too. They truly cared about each other, supported each other and enjoyed each other. They both exhibited plenty of spunk for living life to it's fullest.
We all remember how they hopped into your Mom's car to go to a function in Brooklyn like two teenagers, even returning after dark! I would offer to guide your Mom when she was backing out of our driveway but soon realized she did not need my help. Your Mom would pick up our Mom and bring her back home late at night from choir practice. I often wondered why she was so late as the clock approached midnight. There they were sitting parked on Lindenwood Rd. 'catching up' on things! I don't remember our Mom speaking so highly of a friend.

Our entire family and Mom first and foremost send truly heartfelt condolences to your entire family. R.I.P. dear Ann.

Warmest regards,
Rose Todaro & Family

Mrs. Byrne was a cherished mother, grandmother and adoring great-grandmother. She was a woman of great faith and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
