Peter and family,
We are so sad to read about the loss of your brother Desmond. May he rest in eternal peace.

On behalf of the Officers and Brothers of the Richmond County Board and of Saint Columcille Division No. 4 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, may I express our deepest sympathy and our most heartfelt condolences to the Gillespie and Corso families on the untimely passing of our beloved Brother Hibernian, Bro. Desmond Patrick Gillespie. He was a good father, a good husband, a good son, brother, grandson, and uncle to his beloved family, and a good friend and neighbor to us all, and a loyal and patriotic Irish American and Brother Hibernian.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

May Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Our Mother Mary, and Saint Patrick our Patron give solace, aid, comfort and peace of heart and of mind to our Brother's beloved family in the hour of sadness.

With sincerity and much respect to his family and many, many friends,

Denis P. McGowan
