Tom and Family: My sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. May he rest in peace.
January 20, 2018
Dad was always a hard worker and a perfectionist. He could fix and build anything. Dad used to tell me that no matter what type of work you are doing, you should take pride in it and do it to the best of your ability. He always believed in doing a fair day's work and being punctual. Dad lived by a lot of cliches including: Measure twice, cut once; numbers don't lie but liars figure; haste makes waste and; the one I think about the most these days is don't wish you life away. He used to stress the importance of being a good person and doing the right thing. He used to say that self praise stinks and that there's no need to brag. If you do good things, your actions will speak for you. These are the teachings that Dad instilled in all of us. If I had to pick one song that would best fit his character, I couldn't. I'd have to choose three. Number three would be "I Did It My Way" followed by the song "Taking Care of Business and Working Overtime." The number one song would be "Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind." Dad will be missed; but at least he is with Mom again, looking down on us from Heaven.

Good Bye Daddy, Love Eddie

I have only fond memories of Ed. He was a very Special man. Ed and my father went to work together every day at P&G. He will be missed for sure. Thank God for memories. I remember Ed driving in his car with "Shadow", his Golden, she would sit so close to him and sometimes putting her head on his shoulder. She must have thought they were on a date. RIP and he is now together once again with his bride. Love, Thoughts and Prayers go out to family and friends. God Bless you all. Love, Ruthann
