Eddy was the best.
In 2009 when he approached me in the teller's line at the Lincoln Building Chase Bank branch on 42nd Street and tried to persuade me to let him make investments for me, I was at first a very hard sell. But he persisted, and it wasn't until a few months later when it came to light that he was an even bigger fan of The Honeymooners than I was that I relented, and we stayed good friends ever since --- even after he had to retire early because of health problems. We kept in touch and he kept looking out for me --- thanks to him, I'm getting a good income from all the things he chose for me. He thoroughly knew the investment business, no BS. I always felt that anyone who loved Ralph Kramden as much as he did would never let me down, and he didn't.
And, might I add, he was fun.
He will be deeply missed.

I WORKED WITH EDDIE Many years ago also played softball with him on 2 teams....he was a fierce competitor in everything he did....absolutely hated to lose ...but on the rare occasion when he did he was gracious in defeat..always showed terrific sportsmanship on the field.... he taught how to compete ...i learned a lot from him...he will be greatly missed by family and friends ...
