Lou was always the bright spot to my day at work. He had a wonderful smile and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

You will be missed coach. You were my manager for 40&8 as well as the 89 all star team that won the island.

I remember Mr.S from my days playing Little League baseball and I played for Great Kills. That's not a misprint! I remember the respect he was shown by all Managers and Coaches and more so by his love of the game. The way he interacted with his players left such an impression on me that when I had my own sons to coach, I used him as a role model. I never had the chance to say thank you but I always remembered you. God Bless and Rest In Peace Mr. S.

I know my dad will be sad when I tell him of Lou's passing. They were both little league coaches for over 40 years. May he rest in peace.
