I was shocked to find out that Tom passed. I have done is hair for a long time and the last time I saw him he said he would be out for a while due to some medical problems so I tried to call him to see how he was as he called me when I was out of work for three months with sciatica. I never got an answer so then I tried again recently and the phone was out of order so I looked in the obituaries and there he was I can't believe he's gone. All the girls at Daniel D's love seeing him come in we all joked with him. His name matched his personality witty. He spoke of his family often and how he loves teaching them to ski he loved his lake house and bicycling. I remember one time he came in the shop and his leg was all scratched and he said to me where can I go to get this looked at quickly instead of going to a hospital . it was almost night time so I sent him to quick care in brick. so when I got off work I went over to quick care to see how he was doing he was still in the waiting room but he was doing good. He really scraped his leg pretty good. He had so much energy he was always doing something . When hed come in for a haircut we called him Tom terrific, and it fit because he was terrific . I met one of his daughters and one of his grandchildren and they are truly beautiful people . My deepest sympathies go to his family I want you to know he will be missed .

Mr. Whitty's zest for life was truly admired. He had a terrific sense of humor. My family always joked that he looked like Phil Donahue. My sympathies, prayers and love to the Whitty family.
