So sorry to hear about Tom. Our prayers go out to him and all his family. Tom was a great role model, father, friend and coach. He will be missed. We are having a Mass said for him at St. Juliana on January 6, 2015 at 8:30 a.m.

Mr Bornhorst,

You will truly be missed. As a student, I loved seeing you everyday. You provided order to our chaotic little lives. While you were a man of little words, when you spoke, we all listened.

My heart just breaks to tell you goodbye. Whenever I went back to visit SOA, you were the first person I looked for. Thanks for the memories. Thanks for your authenticity. Thanks for letting me know that you really cared--about me.

I wish I told you these things when you were around. So I hope you see the tears on my keyboard as I type these words.

Rest in Peace...

Dear Margaret and Family,
We are so very sad to learn of Tom's passing. He will always remain a kind, loving, compassionate man in the eyes of our family. We wish you all the best and know how sorely he will be missed by so many. God bless you all and may Tom rest in the peace of our Lord.

To Margaret and family,
I had the privilege of being a teammate of Tom's at Notre Dame. Tom was a great competitor and a team leader. "Zeke" as we all knew him then influenced us all to be a better person both on and off the court. You have my most heartfelt sympathy for your loss and I will always remember my friend and teammate in my prayers....
