Amy, my sister from another mother! What can you say about the girl who was always next door with a quick joke, warm smile and cookie to brighten your day. I will never forget talking late at night from our bedroom windows, watching Jaws on the back of Carol's couch because we were "grown up" enough too and not be scared(ya right), all the block parties as well as countless other fond memories! It was certainly my pleasure learning, laughing, and playing with Amy all these years. I could never ask for a better neighbor and friend, that goes for you to Jim!!! My thoughts and prayers will be with Amy's family now and forever!

Carole, Jim and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Amy was one spectacular young lady! She made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
I got to know Amy when we both taught at Joppatowne Elementary and quickly became friendly with her. Unfortunately, it was her illness that brought us closer as friends. Being retired I was able to help drive her places when she was unable to drive herself. I got to see first hand the strength and determination she displayed throughout her treatments. The diginity she showed and the example she set will be with me forever.
Her illness did not deter her from doing what she wanted to do. Carole, you did a fantastic job as a mother to raise such an incredible daughter.
I hope I can take the lessons I have learned from Amy and use them throughout my life.
Jim, I agree that the best call is for a do over! Your words were so very touching.
Take care and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Carole, the Force is now with you!
Love, Mary

Carole & Jim

I'm sorry to hear the sad news about Amy. I remember all the block parties, playing in all of our back yards, fireworks, costumes and summer days on Vine. We were all lucky to have her as a playmate.

You are in my thoughts.
