We first met at Concordia Lutheran Church in 1977, but then Carolyn and I became very close friends while serving on jury duty. We then took our mothers to Chicago to see the Christmas decorations and had so much fun. We stayed in contact when Carolyn and Earl moved to Florida and would always get together when they came back to Springfield for a visit, plus always called each other on the phone. We had so many good laughs together.

I am so deeply sorry I was not available to come to her memorial service. She and all of our good times together will forever be remembered.

Many thanks to Deb and Steve for keeping me informed.

My wife and I knew Carolyn and Earl when they lived in So. View several years ago. They lived just down the block or so from our home back then. We both also went to school with their daughter Debbie. We send our condolences to the families. Mr.Rickey Allen Sr. Mrs. Kathy ( Tutt) Allen
