I met Don once or twice and, although I certainly didn't know him well, he was a very likable and sincere person.

Don and I had a mutual friend, Danny Ryan, who frequently spoke of Don and told me countless stories of things they had done together. Dan thought the world of Don and, after reading his obituary, as well as comments left by other people, it is easy to understand why.

'Honest Dan' died almost 15 years ago, and I still miss him greatly. But, whenever I heard someone speak of Don, or the Siddens' firing range, I always felt like a part of Danny was still here.

I'm sincerely sorry for the family's loss, but I'm happy two great friends have been reunited.

To the Siddens Family,
I was so sad to learn of Don's passing. Don was a great friend, and I will miss him very much. I had the privilege of working with him many years ago prior to his retirement. Besides being hardworking, smart and ethical, he had the world's greatest sense of humor. I aways looked forward to seeing Don. The world was a better place with Don in it.
Sincerely,
Bill Cavanagh
