Cam and family, Please accept my sympathy. Avis was a dearly remembered golf partner and friend. I too loved her sense of humor and her belief that all will be OK. She loved her family!! Peace.

Cam and family, We are so saddened to learn about your dear mother. Avis was such a wonderful friend and we missed her dearly when she left Normal. But she enjoyed being near you and the rest of your family after your dad died. We are sorry we will not be able to be with you at this time, but know our love and prayers are with you. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am very sorry I am unable to be there with you all. They broke the mold when they made Aunt Avis, she was truly one of a kind and the very best kind. She was so supportive to Liz and I and included me in her family with grace and love. We enjoyed attending the Big Ten women's basketball tournaments in Indy and especially loved the ones where she came with us. She could school us all in basketball. I am only sorry I never heard her play her many instruments, especially ukulele, and sing a song backwards! I will miss her very much.
