To Quinetta and the rest of the Wade family I send my condolences and sympathy on your loss. But know, the loss is felt by the Springfield community and the COGIC Central Illinois jurisdiction as well. Elder Kenley Wade Jr, touched many lives with his love of God, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, love of golf and tennis and his humor. I will miss his tap on the shoulder and hugs when he would see me in church. I'm most grateful for the love and support he showed my husband, his friend and golf tutor during Joe's illness. There were so many kind things he did that went
unknown because he did them because they were the right thing to do and not because he wanted the recognition for doing them.

We were so happy when he married Quinetta and they were a power couple. He dotted on his mother and talked about his girls and it was a delight to see him with his dad. We'll all miss Kenley but he is now in the Lord's care and free from pain and suffering and if there is a golf course in heaven he probably will find it. Rest In Peace Elder Wade

Our prayers and condolences go out to the Quinetta, the Wade family and the COGIC community. Elder Wade, was a mentor to me in the ministry. I appreciate his firm guidance. As I reflect on his mentorship, I appreciate him being there for me and the church. He is missed.

I will always remember the days of playing baseball with "Little Kenley" and "Big Kenley" coaching with my father. Going to the department of revenue and hearing him yell my name through the building before a huge hug to greet me. My prayers, thoughts, and condolences.
