Dear Carlos & Family

We are surprised and so sorry to read that Lisa passed away. Please accept our condolence. Elena and I and our family, we really feel sad about it knowing how much she means to you and your children. We will pray for her peaceful repose, and we hope that time will help ease the pain of your loss. Our best wishes are with you and your children and we will keep you in our prayers. Please let me know if there is anything we can do.

I was shocked and saddened to read in this morning Springfield Journal Register news that Lisa had passed.....what an untimely and much too early parting for a woman who epitomized the strength, courage, daring, and caring of a real life WONDER WOMAN. I met Lisa while having the privilege of teaching her son, Cody, in second grade and my admiration for her during this trying time became epic....I just spoke of her two days ago to my grandson as I tried to impart my grandmotherly wisdom of how courage in the face of all odds becomes the true measure of a person. Strange that two days later I read the obituary and now the engulfing sadness.
However, having also the privilege of having taught Kailey, I can attest even more readily to the super powers this kindly, lovely woman possessed as she parented all of her children with total love and devotion. May she rest in eternal peace and her legacy live on through the amazing lives of her children.
