Dave, Bev, Andrea and Chris,
I am so sorry I missed the services for Bud, who I always respectfully called Mr. McCurley.
I have known your family for many years.
One of my best memories of Bud was the excitement he ALWAYS showed when he shared with me his love and passion he had for his fish in the many aquariums he cherished in the basement.
Another memory I will never forget is making homemade ice while we sat in the backyard.
You and your family have been in my heart more than you'll ever know
God bless you all. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in your time of grief for such a kind and loving person whom I'm privileged to have known.
Also, Dave thank you for your kind words for Larry in his online obituary. It meant so much to my mother and me

I call him "Dad" and he was a wonderful person. He was also kind, true and faithful and had a great sense of humor. Sometimes "Mom" did not approve of his humor and he would get that twinkle in his eye. I truly grieve with the all of the family and will truly miss him.

I worked with Bud for a number of years when we both worked for the Springfield Airport Authority. I have many fond memories of Bud, the laughs we shared, and also the great fish that he would fry for all of us on many occasions. My deepest sympathy to all of his family, he was a great guy.
