Dear Ervin Family,
I had been searching for "Preacher Bob," as I remember people calling him when I was a little girl (a long, long time ago) at our humble little church in Curran. I wasn't able to track him down. I really wanted to tell him how much his Sunday services continue to mean to me - all these years later. Finding him this way saddened me at first, but there is no doubt in my mind where he is now - celebrating eternal life through Jesus Christ! May God's grace and mercy hold and comfort you during this difficult time. Someday we'll meet again in the place our Lord prepared for us. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Phyllis, Our hearts are broken with you in the passing of Bob. There is no doubt in my mind as to where he is now. We all know he is spending time with Jesus.
I have such fond memories of Bob at church. He was so funny when we did our plays. He had the most dry sense of humor and his delivery of his lines always made me laugh.
I feel so blessed to have known him and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
Blessings to your family.
