We were very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. It was only recently that I received a letter from him.Our best memory of Bob is chatting with him and his grand'daughter, Sarah along with Glen Severy in the 355th Ready Rooms at the 355th Reunion in Tucson. Happy times.
Our condolences to the family at this sad time.

I am so very sorry to learn this news. May God bless your family and grant Bob eternal rest. It has been several years since I interviewed Bob about his experiences of serving in the military during WW II, but I recall clearly his smile and his warmth. I agree with Christina Lewis, who also has posted here and remarked at how Bob's love for his wife was evident in the way he spoke of her. That is one of my favorite memories from the interview -- the way his face lit up when he talked about first meeting Kathleen. He said, "She was like a bowl of fresh peaches!"

I feel privileged to have known him even for just a short time, and I hope your family is comforted by the love and memories from others whose lives were touched by your parents. I feel confident that they are together now and basking in the love of the Lord. Please know that you are in my prayers.

My condolences to the David and Becky and the family and friends of Bob. May you find solace and comfort in your love and memories of the man he was.
