At the start of each school year I read Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree to my students. Mom was the epitome of The Giving Tree. She was the most giving person one could ever meet. Creating special birthday cakes for loved ones, bringing big red apples to my students each fall, sending me, her daughter, a card on Mother's Day, having flowers sent to my friend Janice who stayed with us when Jorden was born, knitting sweaters for family members(some of which will be passed down to future generations) are just a few examples of her thoughtfulness and generosity.
She was the most amazing and beautiful-inside and out, person one could meet.
We love you and miss you each day!
