I know you are out of pain and in the loving arms of Shirley. God has reunited you two. I was inspired by both of you in the years that we were friends. My granddaughter Maddy and I will miss you, and know we will all be together again. You were an inspiration to so many, you gave so much. Marines like you never die, they live on in the Esprit de Corps forever. Semper Fi Marine, you have served well and true and earned your rest . God loves you and so do we.

You were always one of the strongest, yet most gentle men I've ever known. I wish you were still here, I still have things to say and I find myself picking up the phone to call, but I guess I will have to wait for you to whisper in my ear. Now that you are free from pain and suffering you are able to once again watch over and guide us with all your strength and wisdom. You will forever be in our hearts and thoughts, may peace finally be with you now that you and Shirley are reunited.
Love you forever!!
I'm saddened that you left us too soon; but, know you are in a better place. Someone as good as you are will certainly have eternity in a sea of love. Thank you for your love and kindness.
Will miss you Steve. Thank you for being our friend. Hoping you spend eternity with Shirley and Gary.
You fought a tough battle, but now you are out of pain. Say hi to mom, you two are together forever now just like it should be. Miss and love you!
