Thanks for the memories, Skip. You were the voice of Baseball in my adolescence, and you remain the voice of the Braves in my mind. I hear you calling every home run, blown play, and rain delay, with Andy Griffith warming up in the bullpen. Thank you so much, and rest well.

I wish you could have been commentating on todays game! I know I was an emotional train wreck by the end, and it would have been great to have "on old friend" right there in the wreck with me. We miss you Skip!

As spring turns to summer and the Braves play on, we miss your voice and laughter that brought it all home to us. We miss you Skip.

The narrator of my childhood. Watching a game still isn't (and never will be) the same.

I began listening to Skip Caray (and the gang) in 1992. Baseball lived for me through him.
Thank you, Skip.

Simply the best! We all miss you Skip.

I used to go to Braves games regularly, and still bring a handheld radio just to hear him call the games. Many a night I would stay up and listen to the broadcasts on the radio of the games. For me, he was the reason I got interested in baseball and started to pay attention to the Braves. Thank you so much Mr. Caray.

I wanted to take the time as Skip's daughter to thank you for all of the beautiful messages, words of encouragement, and fond memories you shared. My dad was wondeful in so many ways. He was very much off air the way he was on air-to the point and so much fun!To many he was an icon. To me, simply my Dad. I never knew the impact and joy he gave to so many. To say I am proud of him is an understatement. He was and sill is my hero.
Thank you all for your love, support and wll wishes.
Sincerely,
Cindy Caray-Hines

I can't believe that it's been a year. I still enjoy watching the Braves, but it's not the same. I still keep expecting him to tell us during a blow out that if we promise to patronize the sponsors...we can go walk the dog. We miss you Skip!
