Elizabeth A. "Betty" Mosier, 73, of 510 W. Main St., Kersey, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 27, 1944 in Kersey, a daughter of the late Patrick and Marie Heigel McMackin.
On Nov. 13, 1963 in St. Boniface Church, she married William Mosier, who survives.
Betty was lifelong resident of Kersey and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School. She was a member of St. Boniface Church where she was also a volunteer and member of the Rosary Altar Society. She volunteered a lot of her time at the Guardian Angel Center in Kersey. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed baking and going to camp.
In addition to her husband of more than 54 years, Bill Mosier, she is survived by three daughters, Patty (Bruce) Gabor of Kersey, Debi (Charlie) Schatz of St. Marys and Renee (Jesse) Safran of Cornwall, Vermont; two sons, Andrew (Collette) Mosier of Kersey and Ronald (Rhonda) Mosier of Weedville; 16 grandchildren, Steven, Emma, Sarah, William, Kari, Shelbie, Jenna, Jacob, Abigail, Zachary, Olivia, Lillian, Lauren, Logan, Sydney and Madelyn; one great-granddaughter, Austyn; a brother, Patrick (Paula) McMackin of Kersey; a daughter-in-law, Laura (George McMurty) Mosier of State College; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorrie Ann Mosier; a son, David T. Mosier; and a sister, Bonnie Wonderling.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth A. Mosier will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 29 at noon at St. Boniface Church, Main Street, Kersey, Pa. 15846 with Rev. Ross Miceli, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 28 from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will also be held at St. Boniface Church on Friday morning from 11-11:45 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian Angel Center, Main Street, Kersey, Pa. 15846.
