Pa Green as he was lovingly known, will be missed greatly by both family and friends. He was a go getter, didnt sit still for long, even though he had a bad leg and was always up to something. Many a time Ruby would tell me that he was up on the roof fixing something. All you had to do was mention something in conversation and he would be onto it.
He was famous for his tool collection, of which he loaned to everybody and of course his box trailer.
Pa was also quite famous for his wild driving skills. His guardian angels were kept quite busy in that department.
He loved dark chocolate and in his later years had his bedside drawer full of snapped apart chocolate blocks. Sometimes when Ruby and i were having a cup of tea (made by Pa of course) he would walk past and throw chocolate at us to catch.
Both Pa and Ruby were known for their cooking yummy food through years of christian camping. I have so many lovely memories of times with them.
I am very grateful to God for the wonderful times i experienced with Pa Green. He is in heaven now and has fullness of joy with his new body. He was a force to be reckoned with and will be missed.
