Bernard NIVEN Obituary

NIVEN, Bernard Michael.
(Bernie)
28.11.1944 - 29.08.2014

Much loved and loving husband of Meredith and father of Scott, Jodie, Craig, Rosie, Georgie, Michael and Isabella.

He laughed loudly, all
the time.
He refused to worry about what did not matter.
He ran late, frequently.
He was easily distracted, especially when driving.
We adored him and will miss him terribly.

A great man, who gave of himself without expectation. I owe him an enormous debt of gratitude, I am who I am today because of Bernie and his actions. Rest In Peace mate, I enjoyed our bacon and egg roll meetings at The Downing.

I am proud to have been able to call Bernie a friend. He was a larger than life person who brightened a room by his very presence. May he rest in peace.

A great life saver even though he couldn't swim unless a shark was after him, typical boatie. A great mate and a true Elouera Warrior, he'll be remembered by all. George Birss.
