To Ann and family

I knew Chris before he was married to Ann - in fact I was one of the people who knew them both when they were both single. They met through Hendon and Edgware 18 plus group which I joined and introduced both to.
I met Christian at St Mary's at Finchley Youth Club in the 1970s which I attended with my friend Janice Hartland who became a lifetime friend of Chris.
Ann and I met through Hendon College of Further Education where we both studied for our Private Secretarial Certificate.
I remember their wedding in St Pauls Church in Mill Hill and how lovely they both looked as a newly married couple.
I missed Ann a lot when they emigrated to Australia and my heart goes out to her and her children at this very sad time.
This year will be your year of firsts - firsts without Chris and will be hard. As a family you will be able to share your grief and grow together. I promise that as time passes your loss will seem less raw and you will see Chris live on in your memories and through your extended families.
Sending lots of love
Sue (nee Berman) Willoughby
