Dick, I was shocked and very saddened to hear the news just today, of the loss of Fi. It has been a long time since college days but I still vividly recall her charm, her sense of humour, her vibrancy and interest in anything and everyone. I especially recall an unexpected but long and engaged conversation a few years ago at the Paul's anniversary dinner. Fi was truly a delight to be with and I cannot imagine the hole she leaves for you and your daughters who she was so overtly proud of. May the love of family and good friends and truly wonderful memories help a little in the aching times ahead.

My deepest sympathy to Fiona's family on the very sad news of her sudden passing. I have very fond memories of Fiona from our many years at school together at Ascham and more recently, our chats when we ran into each other at lunch time in the city. I will always remember her gentleness underlined by great strength. Her wit and wisdom always shone through and would lift your spirits. Above all, her kindness will never be forgotten. She was truly a special person and will be missed.

I was privileged to know Fiona at Freehills. I have shown to my daughters the tributes to Fiona, an inspirational model of virtue. Zara and Catie are greatly blessed to have such a mother, now with God and forever intimately close to them. They and their father, Richard and all Fiona's loved ones are in our prayers.

How tragic to hear of this sudden loss. I was also in Fiona's year at Ascham and hadn't seen her for decades. I simply remember her as the indisputably smartest girl in our year. I also remember her kind an humble nature and unwavering integrity. Such a gentle soul. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

Fiona will always be one of the most inspirational women in my life. As her hairdresser I have absolutely loved having her in the salon and sharing our life experiences together. I have the privileged position of sharing a special connection with my clients and Fiona was a rare gem. Passionate about her family, dynamic and engaged in her career and often inspiring in her perspective and advice. She helped me through some of my own challenging life experiences with her wise, caring words. She will stay in my heart and memory as a truly unique, amazing women. I will light a candle and send my love to Richard, Katie and Zara and also to Anna.

Dear Richard, Zara and Catie,

I was so sad to hear of the loss of your wife and mother, Fiona.

I have fond memories of her at school. She was a lovely person with a very warm, gentle and kind heart and soul.

I saw her again at our 30 year reunion 3 years ago and it was lovely to catch up with her.

My thoughts are with you all at this time.

Wishing you all "long life". It is customary in the Jewish religion to say this to the family when someone passed.

Regards
Fiona

We are all so fortunate and blessed to have had Fiona in our lives. I know she so often helped me out, and that is the story for many. She always had time for a chat despite whatever she had on her plate. Her love for her family was absolutely central to her life and she was so very proud of their development and achievements. She was a woman of quiet but immense strength and the greatest integrity. My sympathy to all her family and especially to Richard, Zara and Catie. May the great love from so many for their Fiona prove a comfort.

Dear Dick, Zara and Catie,

I just wanted to let you know how sad we were to hear about Fiona.

I feel very fortunate to have known her since I was six. She was the first friend I made when I started Ascham in the first grade!

I think I speak for almost everyone in our year when I say that Fi set the benchmark for achievement. Probably more remarkably, she also set a great example for how you could accomplish it all without losing your humility and sense of humour. She was always a very kind and generous person.

I hope you gain some comfort from knowing how many people loved and admired your truly special wife and mother. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you during this very difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy to you all on your sudden and tragic loss of a beautiful daughter, wife and mother. Yours sincerely, Margie and John Lowe

Dear Richard, Zara and Catie
I am so very sorry for your sudden and painful loss. I hope your memories and family provide some sustenance for you. I wanted to share some thoughts about Fi that I included in a speech once at Freehills - to me Fi was like a good bottle of Chardy, a favourite for girls of a certain age, always reliable but interesting and never failed to result in a few laughs. Sincerely Justine Turnbull

She will always be with us.

Dear Zara, Catie and Dick, Life with out Fiona seems unimaginable but I know that you have many beautiful memories of your time with her. When you feel her absence remember her calm warm smile or one of her clever left of field jokes and I am sure you will feel somewhat better. Much love to you always, from Marylouise, your aunt, sister and friend.
