Thinking of you all in this very sad time. My brother John (Jack) was a great brother. With love from his baby brother Allan xxxx

I first met Horace in 1962. I remember thinking what a strange name to give your child. Sometime later I found out this was a nickname given to him by his father and brother and that his name was Jack. Even later it was revealed his real name was John; as the eldest son named after his father. Jack was very good looking , was a man of few words but full of good deeds. Clearly he adored Gloria and his beautiful girls. I remember with considerable affection how kind and considerate he was when he arrived in the middle of the night to take a heavy in labour me and his brother Allan to St. Georges hospital.
Always a gentleman, hardworking, honest and with a dry sense of humour that always got to the heart of the subject.
Remembered with great affection. Gillian Murray-Prior mother of Annette Croft (nee Martin) and David.
