I think that Fr Kevin Muldoon was a saint! For years he faithfully celebrated the traditional Latin Mass at St Michael's College chapel on Sunday mornings, followed by Benediction. I can still hear his voice preaching, and can still remember the wonderful simplicity with which he presented the mysteries of the Faith. I can still hear his voice as he chanted the prayers of Benediction. His impish sense of humour and contagious cheerfulness often sustained me through the following week. The reverence of his Masses set the standard by which I still measure all others. Well done, good and faithful servant! May you rest in everlasting peace.

Dear Father,

I just found out the sad news yesterday when I went to Bronte to see you. I lost words in tears.

Your peaceful and humble smile, your wisdom and confidence, your friendship and your voice when you pray for me and my family have been engraved in my memory and will remain for the rest of my life.

You have devoted so much of your life to the Church as well as the thousands of people who have needed your help and you are always there when we need you. My family, me and many others are so grateful to have such a great friend like you. Thank you for your long lasting friendship.

You can now rest in peace!

You can still call me when you want to drink apple juice, but don't forget to give me a blink when I look at the stars in the sky thinking of you. Maybe sometime you could tell me what the clouds taste like!

We (Vivian, Sophia and I) miss you!
