My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Thomas Augustine Bracken. Please be assured that life is precious to our Creator. He promises to act in our behalf even with the loss of a dear loved one. 1 Corinthians 15:26

I am devastated to learn that Tom has gone to heaven. I have been away for 8 days and only came back yesterday. I last spoke to him on 17th Sept. - I knew he wasn't well then. Tom and my husband Noel were great mates from the old navy days and Tom spoke at Noel's funeral in October 1999 even tho his voice was bad from his condition. The pair of them would get on the phone for hours talking about their old navy days. I am so sorry his family have lost him. He was a true gentleman. I hope Tom and Noel are now once again together along with all their other shipmates who have gone too. My sincere condolences to his family.

Tommy was one of my Dad's favourite people. They enjoyed a beer and a laugh and together had many of both over the years.
At my Dad's funeral back in 2013 Tommy was there late into the wake. When I said good bye to him as he got into the car with Colleen and Angela I said to him, "My Dad loved you mate." Tommy misheard me and replied, "I love you too mate." Then after a short pause and with his trademark grin and a chuckle he added, "but I loved your Dad more."
This memory makes me smile every time I think of it.
When I last saw Tom he was asking for messages he could pass on to Denis. My brother Paul, Tom and I shared a few suggestions and laughed heartily at each one.
I'll picture Tom and Denis having a beer together and laughing at their own and each others' jokes.
Our sincere condolences to Donna and Greg and family.
Love, Dave, Lisa, Jessica and Aiden Towson.
