Bob, Dad talked about you and that trip throughout his whole life. He seen it as one of his greatest adventures. I found his photo album with all the pictures from that trip. I would sure like to share themm with you and meet up one day. He was really fond of you. I have not met but a couple of his closest friends. I would enjoy talking and meeting more. I would also like to have a memorial when there are more people to invite. I just dont know how to reach most of them. Please email me if you read this.
Good Hearing from you!
God Bless.

Sorry to hear the news about your Dad. Vicki and I went with your Dad to Europe in 1969, bought motorcycles and had a great time. We actually found Augies ancestors in Germany from a return address he had on a letter sent during WW II. He was a good friend during the early years but we lost touch after we got back from Europe.

So much I feel inside and not enough words to express it all. I love you daddy. Thank you for looking after me the past 38 years, and thank you for watching over me in the future and for the rest of my life. You taught me amazing things...things I would not have learned had it not been for you. Mostly, I believe you taught me about love and appreciation and always being there for the ones you love. You left me too early, but maybe you had to. I'm not sure. All I know at this moment is that I lost the very best dad in the world and my best friend and teacher...and much much more. I miss you, it hurts, and I keep you close in my heart every moment of every day. Give mom and sis a hug. I love you! -Jo
