I remember your mom well as my beautiful aunt! (i.e., one of many!!) She was only 18 years older than me and my first memories of her was when she was in her 20s. It seems she was always around while we lived on Belleview Ave. in Cheverly, as she cheerfully cared for us as kids.

Alice thank you for making my dream of a horse farm come true. If you and George hadn't traded a piece of your land for a piece of mine it never would have happened. I always remember Alice out cutting grass. RIP sweet friend and neighbor.

Aunt Alice was always so calm and patient and thoughtful. She always put me at ease and made me feel loved. She was a huge blessing to us all and will be greatly missed. Comfort is found knowing her faith was firm, and she is now filled with a joy incomprehensible existing in God's presence. She is also with her little Teresa and husband George and my mom and their parents..... Thank you, Aunt Alice, for your great example.

So sorry for the family's loss. Losing someone we love is one of the most devastating experiences in life, and the pain can seem unbearable. How loving God is to console us with his promise of eternal life. (John 17:3) One day, our loved one will have the opportunity to live again. Doesn't this promise just fill us with hope?
