I worked at the Wild Bird Center in Waldorf for Lee and Dee Duer. We were best friends and they are the best people I have ever been privileged to know and love.
I sent Dee a Christmas card and it was returned today. Then I tried to call her and that failed so I called the nursing home and was told that she died before Christmas. She was the bravest and dearest lady. They will always be in my heart and I have such wonderful memories of our time spent together.
To the family, Jeff and Debbie and granddaughters, my prayers are with y'all as you mourn the deaths of a truly loving and generous couple.
I pray to see you both someday soon!
Love always,
Linda Johnson
