Hank Tomaszewski July 17, 1960 - June 24, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Henry K. "Hank" Tomaszewski, 53, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Hospice House of St. Joseph County. Hank was born July 17, 1960 in South Bend to Robert and Marianne (Kalmar) Tomaszewski. Hank is preceded in death by his father, Robert; and a brother, Robert Tomaszewski, Jr. On December 12, 2012, Hank married Melissa (Hawkins) Tomaszewski; she survives along with his mother, Marianne M. Tomaszewski of South Bend; daughter, Miah E. (Juan) Mangual of Goshen and her mother, Mary Thomas; step-children, Whittney M. Edblom and Noah E. Wesley; step- grandson, Hunter L. Edblom; grandchildren, Caden, Jasmyne, and Brooklyne Mangual; sister, Deborah Smith; brothers, William (Connie) Tomaszewski, James Tomaszewski, and Edward (Laurie) Tomaszewski; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, along with special cousin Sharon Ziolkowski-Jones of South Bend. Hank was employed with Metal Stamp Corporation, and previously at AM General Corporation. He was a member of the UAW Local #5, and the Sons of American Legion Post 357. Hank enjoyed golfing, fishing, Notre Dame Football and NASCAR. He loved his dog Lucy and had a soft spot in his heart for all animals. Visitation for Hank will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.
