SOUTH BEND - Patrick J. Beecher, 57, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, January 18th, at 10:02 PM in South Bend. Patrick was born on April 15, 1956, in South Bend, IN, to the late William R. and Mary A. (Schoeler) Beecher. Patrick is survived by one sister, Bonita (Roger) Franic of Lafayette, IN; and four brothers, William B. (Toni) Beecher of Ashland, OR, Kevin E. (Kayoko) Beecher of National City, CA, Brian C. Beecher of Lafayette, IN, and Christopher M. Beecher of Fort Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Tim D. Beecher in 2012. Patrick was a former groundskeeper at the South Bend Country Club. He was a member of Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club of South Bend for many years. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, located at 355 W. 16th St., Suite 5100, Indianapolis, IN. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Beecher family.

Pat will be missed. Have not seen him since Red Door Days. Nicest guy ever and lots of fun, he was like an icon.

Haven't seen him in awhile, but he will be missed. Pat had a huge heart, and was always willing to help anybody that needed it. He was one of a kind. Rest in peace.

I remember sitting next to Pat in one of my classes at Marquette School. We would always get in trouble for talking! I am so sorry to see news of his passing and will always remember him fondly. Au Revoir, dear friend!
