Patrick, all can truly see the love you feel for your grandparents. They were the most wonderful people that I have ever been blessed to know. Have comfort and peace in knowing that they are together again and you too will see them again one day. Stay strong. And if you ever need to talk I am here. When you are back in town get in touch-let's hang out on a happier occassion. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Although I have been away from the neighborhood for years I will always have fond memories of Roland and his willingness to volunteer. Through the years the Kelly family has always been a blessing to my family.
God bless and my condolences to the Kelly family.

To the family of Mr. Roland Kelly, my life was touched by Mr. Kelly. I worked for the City of South Bend and Girl Scouts of Singing Sands and would frequently see Mr. Kelly at events around the City. He was such a wonderful, kind, down-to-earth man. Color didn't matter to him he was just a regular guy (if I may use that term). I always got a laugh out of the Notre Dame pants he used to wear and the fact that me, at 5 feet stood just about eye to eye with him. All jokes aside he was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed. I thank you, his family, for sharing him with us all. May God bless and comfort you.

I am so thankful I had the privilege and joy of knowing Roland. What a gift he was! His sense of humor, his great interest in everyone and everything, and his love for his family are qualities that I will always remember. I will miss him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

As a Radio and TV Engineer from 1952 to 1988, I saw a lot of Roland
and, while I didn't always agree with his decisions on the Council, I admired him very much. I'm sure he will be much missed by everyone in South Bend. My condolences to his family.

Dear Kellys, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a good friend and ND'50 classmate of my (now deceased) father, Daniel J. Osberger. They were often on the same PGA golf course and part of the "lunch bunch". Your father represented his city council district so well over the years. I always found his volunteerism remarkable. He was a steadfast supporter of St. Anthony's parish, where he served in so many roles. His vibrant spirit will be missed by all. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow and loss.

Dear Kelly's I only met Roland once in 05 at the July 4th Cook-out, and he was so cool, and cute. May God keep him, and you are in my prayers. Dalia Cox/Tracy Leggett

Dear Kellys
My sincerest condolences. It was both a privilege and a pleaser to know Roland. I always loved to hear how the "Team" was going to do in the game. It will be impossible to watch an ND football game without thinking of Roland. Take Care and God Bless you all.
