I remember the first day he entered our homes, all so many years ago.
I remember when he left Channel 5 and went to work elsewhere.
I remember he retired.
I got a twinge in my heart and a tear in my eye, when NECN broke the news to me that Chet Curtis was gone.
Gone to soon.

We were so saddened to hear of Chet's passing, my husband and I would watch the news and eat dinner, our four children were watching Sesame Street in another room. They were my favorite news team!

Everybody in my era loved Chet and Nat. I was a cop for 39 years and met both of them at one time or another on News Worthy Cases. Chet had a way to make U feel comfortable by not asking things that I could not answer. He was a "COOL" guy! Also ran into him at a Marina Bay Restaurant and he could not be any nicer! God Bless Chet and thanks for providng news for us yuppies! Brian Hickman
