Barbara

My dad just told me about your mom. I will always remember her as the best Girl Scout leader and advisor mantua ever had! I will never forget those camping trips and the times she made your poor father come along. I can hear her telling Karen Welsh to stop laughing and go to sleep! You shared your mom with so many and we all appreciated it!

Karen and Barb, This is my prayer for you and your family. It is never easy to let go of our “Moms.” Hope this brings you and your family some peace.

Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful, their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your love. Amen Vienna Cobb Anderson

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was loved by all she came in contact with. Your mom will be greatly missed by many but will remain in our hearts forever. Mantua's activities will not be the same without her.

Karen and Family,
So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a very active woman and touched so many lives. Each path she traveled was a trip in which she mentored others unknowingly. Just through Girl Scouts alone, there are many young women who are the better for having your Mom in their lives. I don't think you had a choice in sharing her with all of us, but I thank you for that piece. You will be in prayers through this difficult time.
