Grace E. Connolly (nee McFadden), 88, of Deerfield Township died late Monday afternoon December 30, 2013 at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. The wife of the late Edward M. Connolly, who died in 1980, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Reisner McFadden. She was born in Perrysville, PA and moved to the Bridgeton area to work at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company. She was employed in the selecting department on "C" shift for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Connolly was a member of the Woodruff United Methodist Church and always enjoyed her weekend trips with "the girls' to the mall. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed word search puzzles and knitting. She is survived by three sons, Edward M. Connolly Jr. (Anna) of Vineland, Richard V. Connolly (Lisa) of Gilbertsville, PA and William T. Connolly of Smithville, two grandchildren, Danielle Connolly and Edward M. Connolly III and one great granddaughter, Jewelle Connolly. She is also survived by one sister, Jane O'Dell of Silver Spring, MD and was predeceased by three brothers, James, Jack and Bob McFadden and one sister, Doris Hargenrader. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the FREITAG FUNERAL HOME, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Friday afternoon January 3rd at 2 o'clock where friends will be received from 1 until 2. Pastor Larry Long of the Woodruff United Methodist Church will officiate. The burial will follow the service and take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Written condolences and tributes may be shared with the family at freitagfuneralhome.com
