Dear Aunt Rita and cousins
So, so sorry to learn of Uncle Jack's passing. The basketball team is now complete again. I am sure the brothers are getting Uncle Jack up to speed and have a game set for tomorrow as we say our final goodbyes to Uncle Jack. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you all.
Love Barbara & Joe
Aunt Rita and family... so sorry to hear about your loss of such a special person. Its hard to imagine that all the original McCarthy men are now gone. I rode by about 3 months ago and pointed out your house to my boyfriend. Told him all about the parties in the back yard and what a big family we had. My mom will be attending tomorrow night and on wednesday...she was determined to be there being the oldest McCarthy niece/nephew. You will be in my thoughts and prayers especially this week.
I will always remember your dad as being kind, a little bit quiet, and also a little ornery with a good sense of humor...I knew him through church and Salem City politics...I am sorry for your loss...please give your mom a hug from me (and my mom).

The boys were always very competitive, and when they needed someone to take care of the ball, it went to Jack. Be it politics, the military, sports, or whatever. You could trust Jackie. He was quite a guy. My sympathy to Rita and family. Tony Rhea
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at the passing of Uncle Jack. I remember the famous baseball games at the July 4th picnics. Loved hearing stories of the MCCARTHY BROTHERS, Uncle Jack seeing his priest during the war and other stories that PopPop told me. Uncle Jack was a wonderful man to his family and community and will be greatly missed. God Bless.
To the McCarthy Family,
Sending my thoughts and prayers to everyone! Mr. McCarthy led a life that impacted those dear to him in a positive way. His legacy lives on in all of you.
What an impressive military career. Thank you, Mr. McCarthy, for preserving America's freedom!
Uncle Jack was always a kind and welcoming gentleman to our family. It was an honor to know him and be a member of his extended family.
Prayers and sympathy for Aunt Rita and all the McCarthy family. My Uncle Jack was a good man who always was there for you and was an inspiration and loved by all who knew him.
I remember Uncle Jack and family at the July 4th parties when I was a kid - many memories of good times and good food on sunny summer days! Rest in peace, Uncle Jack.
Dear Aunt Rita and family,
It's very sad to realize the last of the McCarthy siblings is gone--even after 94 years, it seems all too soon. Everyone within our family and anyone who knew Uncle Jack will miss him tremendously. I cherish so many memories of the times I saw him hanging out with his family--what fun times we had. He is now reunited to all those he loved and who have been waiting patiently for him to come "home". Uncle Jack will always be missed, but remembered. Your lives have changed, but your love for him will grow.
With love to all and our deepest sympathy,
Mary Ellen and Dean Chambers, Elsinboro
