My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I admired Betty for all she did to make this a better country and for her brave service. I will miss her greatly.

I remember "Cousin Betty" as my Nanny affectionately called her. My Nanny was Elizabeth "Betty" née Charles-Marx. I remember her visiting my Nanny and I went to lunch with them both when I was a teenager. She led a very distinguished life in the military for a woman of her time. A definite role model for girls! I'm so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
