Jeffry J. Knight, 56 died suddenly at his home in Franklinville, NJ on September 25, 2013. Son of Henry S. and the late Joan E. Knight, he was predeceased by his mother and siblings Mark and Beth Ann Knight. In addition to his father, Jeffry is survived by his children Nick and Katie, brothers Henry J. (Jay) and Todd Knight, sister in law Therese Knight, his nieces Sara and Emily Knight and Julie Zulker and nephews John and Justin Knight. Also surviving is his former wife, Judy Knight. A graduate of Ocean City High School, Jeffry also had degrees from Spring Garden College and Atlantic County Community College. A long time employee of Atlantic City Electric Co., he retired in 2012. A kind and loving person, Jeffry's greatest joy was his children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 30th at 12 noon from St. Augustine's Church of St. Damien Parish, 13th Street at Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ, with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:45. Interment will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Alpha 1 Foundation, 2937 S.W. 27th Avenue, Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133. Oh man, Jeff - one of the really great people I have known throughout my life. My next door neighbor growing up and a true inspiration. Here was a guy who never let his disabilities slow him down. As cruel as kids can be he just laughed his way through the teasing - and got the last laugh as he became educated, successful, and had the biggest heart of anyone I know. Every time I went back to OC I would look for him because he was always happy, positive, and a joy to be around. I'll miss you Jeff. And my heart goes out to all of the family.
