Suddenly, you were gone
From all the lives you left your mark upon
I remember, how we talked
And drank into the misty dawn
I hear the voices, we ran by the water
On the wet summer lawn
I see the footprints, I remember
I feel, I feel the way you would
Tried to believe but you know it's no good
This is something that just can't be understood
I remember, the shouts of joy skiing fast through the woods
I hear the echoes, I learned your love for life
I feel the way that you would
I tried to believe but you know it's no good
This is something that just can't be understood
I remember
I feel the way you would
This just can't be understood

A few years ago, I was introduced to this skinny little 15 year old. He was s "soccer player" for PHS, and I was the coach. During my tenure I watched a "little boy" grow into a man. Then a few years later, I get this phone call. He wanted to talk to me about being a "cop". I followed his career with great interest. I watched a man become a mature and a person who knew what he wanted. I am proud and honored to have been his coach, mentor, and friend.

From grade school up through high school, Kenny spent many days at our house getting into various adventures with my brother Jeff and their other friend Tom. Kenny was always so much fun to be around, and he never seemed to mind when I tagged along in their backyard wiffle ball games, fishing trips, and other goofy activities. He was such a genuine, caring person and always treated me with kindness and respect, even when I know I was being the annoying girl who was constantly trying to hang out with the guys. When I got married, Kenny was there, and that meant the world to me. Kenny has made such a positive impact on the lives of so many people, I know that his spirit will live on forever. My thoughts & prayers are with his family and loved ones. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Kenny spent many hours at our house in various pursuits with our son, Tom. Kenny was always polite and a perfect gentleman every time we saw him. His deep friendship with our son was welcome and appreciated by us all. Rest in peace, Ken, we miss you.
