Leroy "Roy" Delattre, 87, formerly of Pitman but now living in Monroeville passed away on December 24, 2013. Roy had been self-employed as the owner and operator of Webb Press Printing in Pitman for many years until his retirement. During the Second World War, he had served in the U.S. Navy. Roy was a volunteer for the Highland Chemical Fire Department in Pitman as well as a past member of the Rotary Club. He was also a current member of the VFW Post #6469 and the American Legion both in Pitman. However, although Roy had many interests and hobbies the one thing he looked forward to each and every week was going out and dancing. He is survived by his children, Donna Hernandez (Larry), Maria Sweigart (Michael) and David Delattre (Dottie); nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as his great friend, companion and dancing partner, Marge Lindsay. In addition to his parents, his wife Marion (Pilla), his daughter Lisa Scott and a great- granddaughter predeceased Roy. A Time to gather and celebrate his life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Christ Community Baptist Tabernacle Church, 188 Rt. 40, Upper Pittsgrove, NJ 08318. The family will be available starting at 10:30 AM to greet anyone who wishes to stop by and pay their respects with the service following at 11 AM. Interment will be private. www.adamsfuneralhome.org
