Can't apologize for waiting so long to send respects, but, she is still alive in my heart and I have a great deal of difficulty accepting the fact that I will no longer see her except in my dreams... Aunt Ruth was as hard as they come, fashioned by life to be who she was and loved by those who knew her best for who she truly was.. she'll always be in my heart and although I'll never again hear her voice, I'll feel her love until my time comes when I can see her again. Rest in Peace Aunt Ruth.. miss and love you....

I wish I had been able to see you on those quick visits I made back home, but I did at least get to talk to you on the phone. Even then you had come to terms with what was happening and continued to do what you wanted to do. Not what anyone else thought you should do. I'll always have all the memories of times spent with you while growing up. Living in the house in front of you on Main St. You taking me to the hospital when I went into labor with David Lee. The almost daily visits to Mom's house on Market St. and sitting around the kitchen table talking. And the awesome Christmas Eve gatherings. I will miss you and love you forever, Aunt Ruth.

Ruthie and I shared some great times and stories in my gift shop in Salem. I enjoyed her sense of humor and the many life stories she had to tell. She was definitely one of a kind. Love and prayers to her family. Linda Munoz
