To the Glynn family, I am so sorry for the loss Joey. He was such an amazing, kind-hearted person. It's so hard to find people like Joey. He was always smiling. I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting him and attending high school with him.
Susan, Joe and girls, I cannot find words to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Joey. It is unthinkable what you are all going through. I pray for you daily that you might find peace in his memories, that he was truly extraordinary and comfort in one another. I am so, so sorry for your loss.
Dear Joe, Sue and Family,
Rick, Ricky, Rory and I are so very saddened by the passing of Joey. In fact, I think devastation and shock would be two words that also come to mind to describe how we feel. I also want you to know that with the saddness, we have also experienced laughter as Ricky and Rory have told us lots of funny stories with Joey being the center of each one. He was not only intelligent, humble and atheletically talented, he was was pretty comical too! What a great combinaton of qualities. You raised a wonderful young man...God be with you and grant you peace and healing.
To the Glynn family. I knew Joe and had the pleasure of working with him and watching him to develop into a great kid who worked so hard to be the best athlete he could be.. He was a great example to young kids growing up who are trying to make it to the next level.. Im so sorry for your loss as he touched so many he came into contact with including me..
To the Glynn family,
We, like everyone else, were deeply shocked and saddened when we heard the heartbreaking news. In the short time I got to know Joey through Spellman basketball, I immediately knew this was a boy of strong character. The times of Spellman basketball left wonderful memories for all.
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Stay strong and find peace in the fact that you raised an incredible young man who touched so many.

From a mother who understands the loss of her only daughter
On behalf of the Green Wave Boosters, we would like to express our sincere sympathy to friends and family of Joey Glynn. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone whose life was touched by his bring, but sadly brief light on this earth. May he forever be remembered by the joy that he brought into other's lives. Please know that Joey is in the hearts of our players, his former teammates and friends.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
My deepest sympathy, we are so sorry for your loss. I did not know Joey personally I only heard of him through Mary as she told me what an amazing nephew he was and all of the wonderful things that he accomplished in his short time here. The greatest of all was his devotion to his family. I can honestly say I feel your pain as a parent who also lost a daughter. The journey is long as we should not be burying our children, although they say God has other plans for our child we truly don't understand why.
Just from reading the messages I know he was an amazing person and he will be watching over you. Perhaps you will find him as a butterfly or a bird flying around just to let you know that he is there and will keep you safe. The loss of child is hard for those whom remain, I will pray that you will find comfort in these difficult times through God and know that he will be watching over all of you.
May the angels hold him high above in heaven.
I am sorry to read of your loss. As a dad, I cannot fathom your grief. However, there are many who pray for you. As a parent we are stewards of God's gift to us, our children. From all accounts your son made a major impact on the people around him. May the Lord of all, embrace you during this inexplicable time of sadness.
Dear Joe, Sue, Kelly, Sarah, Stephanie and Ashley,
Words cannot express how sad our family is for you, and for everyone who knew Joey. He was such an amazing young man. You are such a wonderful family and should not have to endure this pain.
